     After working on the Web Design assignment, I feel like I gained a lot of new skills, as I hadn’t designed a web page before. I learned how to navigate website creation platforms like weebly. I also learned how to create a Google calendar and how to embed it. I liked this assignment because it helped me learn the skills necessary to design a website, and also allowed for some creativity in the design. I can use the skills I learned to develop a website for my own classroom when I work as a teacher later on. Here’s the link to my website: https://englishclass2m.weebly.com/

    After working with Diigo, I now have a better understanding of how to navigate the site. This site might be useful in my classroom, as I could use it for my students’ group projects, as a site for my students to collaborate on. With team members, I can collaborate on projects using Diigo as the platform to put our shared work. As an individual professional, I can improve my understanding of topics in my profession by learning from information posted by other professionals on Diigo.

    Teachers constantly have to keep up with changing technology, as their students are often more comfortable using new technology. By teaching their students with more current technology, teachers improve students’ understanding of the lessons. Therefore, it is very important for teachers to stay updated on technology. One way to do this is by searching for articles about new technology on sites such as Forbes, as this site offers articles on technological updates, and can relate them to education.
