My early experiences using twitter have been largely uneventful. So far, I’ve interacted primarily with my classmates and with several education-based accounts. It’s been beneficial to see my classmates’ tweets, so I can see other versions of class projects like the PLN diagram and the newsletter. I’ve had some difficulty figuring out how to use the live chats on twitter, but I believe once I figure it out, it will be a useful tool in my future career, as I will be able to connect with educators across the country. The digital divide is the disparity in technology access. This impacts student success because if one student does not have the same level of access to technology that the other does, then that child will not perform as well, regardless of intellect or skill level. As a teacher, I may have students that don’t have reliable access to the internet or to a computer. If this occurs, I will need to change the amount of digital work I assign for homewor...
